“Tritesha has dedicated over 18 years to the mental health field. In May 2008, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in August 2014.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Tritesha brings extensive expertise to her role. Throughout her career, she has worked with diverse populations, providing assessment and treatment for individuals across the lifespan. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of settings, including private practice, community-based initiatives, and residential care facilities. Tritesha specializes in counseling services for anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and personality disorders. Her approach is holistic, encompassing person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, and cognitive-behavioral strategies.

Overview: As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Leveraging your personal experience with mental health recovery, you will offer empathy, understanding, and encouragement to empower others on their journey towards wellness. You will work collaboratively with clients, mental health professionals, and community resources to promote recovery and foster a supportive environment.


Responsibilities: Provide peer support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges through one-on-one interactions, group sessions, and community outreach programs. Share personal experiences of recovery to inspire hope, resilience, and self-advocacy among clients. Actively listen to clients, validate their feelings, and offer non-judgmental support and encouragement. Collaborate with mental health professionals to develop and implement personalized recovery plans for clients. Assist clients in identifying and accessing community resources, including support groups, housing assistance, and vocational rehabilitation services. Facilitate peer-led support groups and workshops on topics such as coping skills, stress management, and self-care. Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress toward recovery goals. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance peer support skills and knowledge of mental health recovery principles. Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with mental health conditions within the community and healthcare system. Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture by actively participating in team meetings, sharing feedback, and supporting colleagues.


Qualifications: Lived experience with mental health challenges and personal journey of recovery is required. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field preferred. Completion of a peer support specialist training program or certification is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards others. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle confidential information appropriately. Experience working in a mental health setting or providing peer support services is an asset. Licensed clinical therapist 

Overview: As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide compassionate and evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. Utilizing your clinical expertise and therapeutic skills, you will assess, diagnose, and treat clients while fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain thorough documentation, and uphold ethical standards to ensure the highest quality of care for clients.


Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, including diagnostic interviews and psychosocial evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and solution-focused therapy. Empower clients to explore and address underlying issues contributing to their mental health concerns, including trauma, grief, substance abuse, and interpersonal conflicts. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches for clients. Monitor client progress regularly, adjust treatment plans as needed, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions using outcome measures and standardized assessment tools. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms or emotional distress, including safety assessments and referral to appropriate resources. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Qualifications: Master’s or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, social work, or related field from an accredited institution. Licensed or license-eligible as a mental health therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).Clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups in a mental health setting. Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing treatment plans using evidence-based practices. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely. Empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity towards clients’ experiences and identities. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, including diagnostic interviews, psychiatric evaluations, and functional assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team, incorporating client goals, strengths, and preferences. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual counseling, group therapy, family therapy, and psychoeducation, to address clients’ mental health symptoms and improve coping skills. Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on clinical observations, client feedback, and outcome measures. Clinical experience providing mental health services to individuals, families, and groups in a variety of settings, such as outpatient clinics, community mental health centers, or residential facilities. Knowledge of diagnostic criteria and treatment modalities for common mental health disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and trauma-related disorders. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate accurate clinical impressions and treatment recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients, collaborate with colleagues, and engage with interdisciplinary teams. Cultural sensitivity and competence in working with diverse populations, including individuals from different racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and LGBTQ+ backgrounds.
