From Struggle to Success: Francina’s Inspiring Journey
In 2000, Francina arrived in Durham, NC, with her three young children, determined to turn her life around. Leaving behind a troubled past in Salisbury, she faced the challenges of single motherhood and overcoming addiction head-on.
With little more than a 13-inch color TV and a Section 8 housing voucher, Francina embarked on a remarkable journey of self-improvement and growth. She taught herself the intricacies of motherhood while battling anxiety and panic attacks, developing effective coping mechanisms along the way.
Despite encountering obstacles, Francina’s resilience shone through. She continually found her way back to the path of progress, becoming increasingly self-sufficient with each passing year.
Today, Francina stands as a testament to the power of perseverance. She now runs a thriving business that: Covers over 100 counties and assisting over 15,000 consumers with housing receive housing and assistance. Francina’s story is one of transformation, hope, and the unwavering spirit of a mother determined to create a better life for herself and her children.
